Here are my tips for saving money week:
1. Maintaining a good credit rating! It will save you thousands of dollars in the short and long time when you need to borrow money to buy a car or a house. The creditors will give you an interest rate and loan amount based on income and punctuation credit.
2. Large sums of money should NEVER be left in a checking or savings account low interest bank account. By contrast, put money in a savings account high interest (like an ING savings), the money market fund, or other forms of high-interest short-term investments with a fixed income.
3. If you have an employer matching 401K plan, maximize your contributions, so that double your money!
4. Set withdraw 10% of their salary to some type of savings account the long term, as a money market account, mutual funds, retirement plan or 401K. As more the payment amount, your contribution will also increase automatically. 10% also ensure that you stay ahead of inflation.
5. One of the best investments you can make is to first pay off all your high credit card debts. Credit cards usually carry an interest rate and through payment of these debts, you get one of the best terms available, which is also tax free.
6. If you are losing the dream of an investment, if their stocks, mutual funds or retirement plan, its not worth it! Lack of sleep is probably a good indication that it may be too risky, too good to be true, or just not right for you Invesment.
7. If an investment is projected returns that are too good to be true, it probably are. Unless you are intimately involved in investment or an insider, an investment that sounds too good to be true is probably too ambitious, too risky or just a scam.
8. Before investing in something, always do your own research. Consultation with others and get a second opinion is good, but have to investigate for himself. The Internet is usually the best source of much information, but make sure you read enough or obtain relevant data.
9. Always negotiate commissions or fees paid for financial advice or real estate. Do not be fooled by the standard commissions and "non-negotiable fees. It's your money and experts working for you.
10. You can not get out of debt? If you are having trouble meeting its debt payments every month and feel that are digging a deeper hole, go talk to your creditors and banks to find a way out of the mess. Be careful with debt consolidators because they could charge more long-term interests and get even further into debt.
