Are you banned by Blizzard if I buy gold for my WoW warrior?
World of Warcraft, I've done it twice in the last 4 months and all is well. Is OK?
This most likely will result in a permanent ban. Blizzard tends to ban this kind of thing in large groups, so that could come anyday. Buying / selling ingame gold or items for real world money is a violation of Blizzards TOS. You have accepted this the first time logged and the first time you login after every patch. Your account will be de facto prohibited. They have routines setup to flag certain activities occurring in the game and investigate them. In this case, verify that the gold came from and follow the trail. When it is known characters that facilitate this type of transaction, accounts involved are prohibited. And as an added bonus, the sites that advertise this kind of thing are generally loaded with keyloggers. Just visiting one of the sites could cause you to lose your account to hackers.
